Dr. Anastasiya Muntyanu
Dr. Anastasiya Muntyanu is a double board-certified dermatologist. She completed her medical education at the University of Ottawa, followed by residency training in dermatology at the University of Toronto. She practices medical and surgical dermatology at Women’s College Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Canadian Dermatology Center.
She also completed a PhD in Experimental Medicine at McGill University focusing on evaluating environmental triggers of autoimmune and inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, systemic sclerosis, and atopic dermatitis. With over 40 publications in high-impact journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Lancet, Dr. Muntyanu's research has received international recognition. She has presented her work at numerous national and international conferences and has been honored with awards from prestigious institutions, including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA), and American Dermato-Epidemiology Network.
During her residency, she earned both the Resident Leadership Award and Resident Teaching Award from the CDA. She also served as the Co-Chair of the CDA Resident’s and Fellows Society for two years. Currently, she serves as a member on the Education Committee and is the co-lead of the Artificial Intelligence Working Group.
