Dr. Thanu Ruban

Dr. Thanu Ruban is a Community Rheumatologist in Markham, Ontario with a special interest in collaborative models of care for patients with inflammatory arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. She is the director of Markham Rheumatology Hub, a multidisciplinary clinic for patients with arthritis and autoimmune disease. She is a Staff Consultant at Oak Valley Health (formerly Markham Stouffville Hospital) and Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto. After finishing her internal medicine residency at McMaster University, she went on to complete her rheumatology fellowship at the University of Toronto in 2014. She is an active member with the Canadian Rheumatology Association, Ontario Rheumatology Association, American College of Rheumatology as well as Association of Women in Rheumatology. She is involved in clinical research and has authored numerous publications in the area of inflammatory arthritis.
